The Falcon Garage, Aldermaston

When carrying out a commercial project, the long term vision is what needs to be addressed and adhered to at all times during the design work.

Designing something that meets the needs of the business at that time is all very well, however what happens when the business expands or wants to diversify?

As a company we try to make sure that we have an understanding of what the business is trying to achieve at present and in the near future.

Project: The Falcon PH, Aldermaston.

Client: A client of ours passed our name onto the new owner of the Falcon pub. Mr. Patel was not 100% sure as to the best route to take the project, to make it into a successful business. After many long discussions, we decided that the best option was to turn the pub into a more family orientated restaurant/bar.

We produced 3 design schemes and adapted them to a final layout incorporating an outdoor eating/drinking area. The project is currently going through the planning process and should be opened early 2010.

Following on from previous projects, we have been instructed to carry out some substantial alterations on the existing petrol station shop.
The brief was to provide our clients with a larger floor space, so that they can incorporate a "starbucks" style coffee area and a larger selection of food.
